a little about us...

Andy & I have been married for ten years, we shot our first wedding a week after our own. We met on a Friday and went snowboarding together on the following Monday... he asked me to marry him that day and much to his surprise~I accepted.

I'll write about Andy... he's loyal and works hard but is also the biggest kid on the block~or cul-de sac in our case. I built Andy a hanging wall for his collection of skateboards-I'm not sure how many, it's enough though. He's an old school snowboarder, skater and sticker collector. He's a devoted dad and loves playing with our son Jack. He's tall. Our seven year old son got that from him and will be as tall as me in a few years. Andy shoots full-time for The Bend Bulletin~almost ten years. He loves the variety of assignments he gets, from breaking news to 100yr old birthday parties at The Senior Center. Oh yeah... and he's a Duck.

I like to create. I like to build and love power tools. I raise chickens and am now raising a rare South American breed. My coop was featured on Sunset Magazine's Blog~I'm pretty proud of that. I snowboard, alpine and nordic ski. I run ~ occasionally. I move our furniture and paint more than Andy cares for, although, he always loves it! Of course, I adore our son. He's the most important part of our life.

I love a wedding day. I'm paying attention to everything, figuring out the dynamic of the families together throughout the whole day. I'm seeing it through the elders eyes and memories brought back to them as well as the little doe-eyed four year olds who are just starting to imagine their fairytale life and being that I'm a mother of a son, I certainly see the day through your mothers' eyes and heart as this day is one she's imagined since the day you were born. My eyes usually will well up at some point.
